Exterior and Interior Features

On the outside of the new Chevy Trax, you can find features such as LED headlights, turn signals and daytime running lamps. All trim levels of the Trax get front and rear intermittent wipers. A rear spoiler adds to the sporty appearance of the Trax while also making the vehicle more aerodynamic. The available roof rails give you some more storage space, which is great if you decide to wander out on a long road trip.

On the inside of the Trax, you'll find comfortable seats with eight-way power adjustments and lumbar support at the highest trim level. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel keep you warm on those cold days. The Automatic Climate Control system keeps everyone comfortable no matter what the weather is like outside.

Performance Specs

The new Chevy Trax has the same powertrain no matter which of the five trim levels you choose. This compact crossover SUV is powered by a 1.3-liter EcoTec Turbo Engine that produces 137 horsepower with 162 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. A MacPherson strut front suspension and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes are standard on all models.

Technology Features

The latest Chevy Trax gets an infotainment system with either an 8-inch or 11-inch touchscreen display, depending on your trim level. This system offers wireless capabilities for both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Bluetooth® allows you to stream music and to connect up to two compatible devices at once. Voice command pass-through allows you to make hands-free phone calls with a compatible smartphone.

Safety Equipment

Every Chevy Trax has StabiliTrak, an electronic stability-control system with traction control. Every trim level is also equipped with six airbags, Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking and an HD rear-vision camera system. Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning keeps you safely in your own lane. Chevy's Teen Driver technology allows you to save drive settings to a specific key fob and monitor the driving habits of your young drivers' driving habits in the Trax.
